August What's In-Die Box: Wreck-It Ralph

I have a very exciting post today - I received my first What's In-Die Box, a monthly all-Australian indie polish box with five exclusive shades from different indie polish makers.  This month's theme is Wreck-It Ralph (I love the movie so I couldn't pass up a chance to have some Ralph-themed polish!)  and the contributors to the box are Peita's Polish, Glam Polish, Gloss 'n Sparkle, Lilypad Lacquer and Sayuri Nail Lacquer.

The polish comes in a cute little box with the logo sticker on the top.  The polish bottles were individually wrapped in bubble wrap and a card noting all the names of the polish was included.

Now for the best part - here are the polishes included this month!  They are all limited editions (there are 45 of each polish in existence!)

Left to right: Sayuri Fro Cone, Gloss 'n Sparkle Bad Anon, Peita's Polish Ralph, Glam Polish King of all the Candy!!! and Lilypad Lacquer Vanellope
Read on for individual bottle shots and descriptions.

Sayuri Nail Lacquer Fro Cone is inspired by Snowanna Rainbeau, one of the characters in the Sugar Rush game.  I'm really excited for my first Sayuri polish, and this one's definitely unique!  It's a creamy dark lavender shimmer base with pale purple and red hexes; I'm pretty sure I saw some star glitter in there too, but I may be mistaken.

Gloss 'n Sparkle Bad Anon, inspired by the villain's support group, is a beautiful black jelly based polish with hexes of different colours (I see gold, blue, orange and silver at first glance) throughout.  I absolutely love the look of this one and I can't wait to try it!

Peita's Polish is another indie brand that's new to me.  This is Peita's Polish Ralph, inspired by Wreck-It Ralph himself.  It's a clear based glitter polish with orange and teal glitter of different sizes.  I feel like this polish is a great representation of the character and I think I'll be wearing it over a dark brown creme.

Glam Polish is another brand that's new to me.  This is Glam Polish King of all the Candy!!!, inspired by King Candy.  This is another polish that really fits the character.  It's a clear base chock-full of glitter of different size, shape and colour.  At first glance, I see red and white diamonds, yellow and white circles, red hexes, purple hexes, black hexes and tiny gold microglitter.  Phew!  I think this one might look good over a dark purple.

Finally, Lilypad Lacquer Vanellope is inspired by Vanellope von Schweetz.  I haven't tried Lilypad Lacquer before but I have seen a lot of posts about their holographic polish, so I guessed that they would be contributing a holo to this box.  Vanellope is a pale green holo polish that's the shade of Vanellope's hoodie in the film.  I haven't been a huge fan of holos in the past, but I'm definitely going to give this one a shot because it's a lovely colour.  The photo below doesn't show the holo but it's definitely visible in person.

In conclusion, I'm so thrilled to have participated in August's What's In-Die Box.  The ordering process was easy and I like the fact that no subscription is required (if you want the box for a particular month, you merely place an order for that box).  The polish all looks absolutely amazing and I can't wait to try them all!
