June Haul

Hello all!  I have a rather hefty haul of 44 polishes to show you this month; I officially have over 100 bottles now!  I'm not sure whether to be proud of that or quietly horrified.

Firstly, I received seven polishes from Mel of Nail & Polish when I won her giveaway.  Thanks again, Mel!  It's a great assortment of polish that I wouldn't have picked up myself; of the ones I've tried so far, my favourite is OPI Significant Other Color.

Left to right: Color Club Worth The Risque, Orly Elation Generation, Butter London Aston, OPI Significant Other Color, OPI Go On Green!, Covergirl Tickled Pink and Covergirl Out Of The Blue
I also shelled out for an OPI polish at David Jones and received a top coat for free.  The polish I bought is OPI Jade Is The New Black, which I have heard some great things about and have been wanting for a while.

I was getting more and more annoyed with my white polish, Illamasqua Scorch, over the course of the month as it's quite streaky and thick so I wanted to get a new white.  I'd heard a lot of good things about OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls so I had a look around for that and did an order from Salon Style, since they have Zoya as well.  (Salon Style is an Australian-based etailer.  I've ordered from them twice now and they're always very prompt with shipping and the service is great!)

I ended up getting seven polishes, including my first Zoya and my first Nubar.  Very exciting!

Left to right: Layla Magneffect Turquoise Wave, Layla Magneffect Velvet Groove, Zoya Ivanka, Nubar Iris Dust, OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls x 2
I also did an order from for 24 polishes (Essie, China Glaze, Misa and Orly) and a big bottle of acetone.  I was a bit wary as to whether the site was legit or not - but my order arrived safe and sound with tracking number supplied and all the polish I ordered was included.  I'm very happy with my experience!  One thing I will note is that shipping was quite expensive - I believe I paid about $70 shipping.  The polish was very cheap so I didn't mind.

Onwards - here's what I got.

Left to right (all Essie): Tour De Finance, Brooch The Subject, Penny Talk, Good As Gold, Little Brown Dress, Ole Caliente and Matte About You x 2
Left to right (all China Glaze - this photo is not very colour-accurate): Midtown Magic, Pelican Gray, Lemon Fizz, Starboard, Aqua Baby, Lubu Heels, Aquadelic
Left to right (all Misa): Lovely Lychee, Ripe Raspberry, Peach Passion, Lime Love, Great Grape and Bluebery Blast
Left to right (all Orly): Sahay My Way and Miss Conduct x 2
Finally, the lovely Jessie gifted the OPI Euro collection mini set to me.  (Suzie's Hungary Again, Oy - Another Polish Joke, You're Such A Budapest and Can't Find My Czechbook).  I've never had any mini OPIs and I must say that the bottles are absolutely adorable!
